Just in case any of you were wondering, this is NOT snark. This really happened this morning.
Recently, Indiana State Representative Bruce Borders stated he intends to introduce a bill to the State Legislature which prevents the recognition of Sharia Law in Indiana Courts.
According to Rep. Borders, the bill would state, "that Indiana does not recognize Sharia law, or Muslim law. What that boils down to is there is a push in some states to recognize Sharia law with its own court system, as opposed to a state constitution or the U.S. Constitution."
